Robert H. Hotz
Robert Hotz is a Senior Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Houlihan Lokey. He is also the Global Co-Head of Corporate Finance and a member of the Operating Committee and Management Committee. Before joining Houlihan Lokey in 2002, Mr. Hotz was senior vice chairman of UBS and head of corporate finance for the Americas. He joined the predecessor firm of UBS, Dillon, Read & Co. Inc., in 1991 as the co-head of the corporate finance department and a member of the firm’s operating committee and board of directors. Before joining Dillon Read, he was the head of the corporate finance department at Smith Barney (since 1982) and a member of that firm’s executive committee and board of directors, where he worked for 22 years.
Mr. Hotz serves on the Board of Directors of Universal Health Services, Inc. and is Chairman of the Board of Pep Boys, both of which are New York Stock Exchange listed companies. Previously, he served on the Boards of Directors of Mikasa, Inc. and MedImmune, Inc., both public companies which were acquired. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and received his MBA from Cornell University. He has been a member of the Museum's Board of Trustees since 2013.
