Museum Finance Academy

This course is offered in the Fall semester only.

  • 8-week personal finance certificate course

  • FREE; open to high school juniors and seniors only

  • Field trips to financial destinations

  • Scholarship awarded to top student/s


Registration Information

Classes are held once a week for eight weeks. Thursday and Friday classes meet from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. There will be two classes on Saturday, one class from 10:30 to 12:00 pm and one class from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. Enrollment is limited to 20 students per class.

Please note that each class has an identical lecture curriculum, but interactive events will vary among each class. The interactive events scheduled are a visit to the office of a finance department, a visit the New York Stock Exchange closing bell, a visit to the New York Federal Reserve and a walking tour of the Financial District and the Museum. On these days, students will be asked to come to the Museum earlier than regular class time.
