Ben Urízar is the Museum's Assistant Director of Visitor Services, as well as a founding member of the Downtown Culture Pass. He has worked in the tourism industry and related areas for the past 25 years. His positions have included Marketing Director for the Tribute Center/September 11 Families’ Association, Director of Visitor Services for NYC and Company, Visitor Services Manager for the Nasdaq MarketSite, and co-owner of the Empire State Language Center and The Center for English Studies (CES), teaching languages to students from around the world. Ben is a graduate of New York University and the International Institute in Madrid, Spain, with degrees in Economics, History, Spanish Language and Literature.
