It’s still hard to find a way to be in The Room Where It Happens, but this fall, you won’t need a ticket to see some of the magic that Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway hit Hamilton brings to audiences each night. As part of its Great Performance series, PBS announced Monday that it will air Hamilton’s America, a documentary giving a behind-the-scenes look at the show and chronicling the two years prior to its Broadway opening.

According to the press release, the documentary will blend aspects of the Broadway show with the real history its based on, such as actors Chris Jackson (George Washington) and Leslie Odom, Jr. (Aaron Burr) taking the audience to Washington’s grave in Virginia and the Museum of American Finance in New York...
