As the Federal Reserve prepares for its first woman chairman in history – pending Senate confirmation, of course – an exhibit roughly 227 miles north on I-95 is celebrating a different milestone for the Fed: its centennial. Housed at the Museum of American Finance (which, fittingly, is located in the former headquarters of the Bank of New York, at 48 Wall Street) is “The Fed at 100,” an exhibit aiming to commemorate, if not celebrate, the Fed’s long history.
