MoAF Receives $7,000 Grant from LSEG Foundation to Support Financial Education Programs

The Museum of American Finance has received a $7,000 grant from the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Foundation to support programs offered through the Museum’s Center for Financial Education. In the past year, approximately 3,500 students in more than 100 classes have participated in these unique financial education programs.

The LSEG Foundation grant will support the Museum Finance Academy (MFA), an eight-week financial literacy certificate course offered for free to high school juniors and seniors. This program provides a foundation in personal finance along with the ability to earn partial college scholarships. LSEG funding will support the MFA curriculum and two college scholarships of $2,000 each, and it will help offset the costs associated with the instruction offered to students.

Registration for the Fall 2017 semester of the Museum Finance Academy is now open. For more information, or to register for the program, visit www.moaf.org/mfa.
