June 23, 2010

The June 2010 edition of History Now, the electronic newsletter of the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, features an interactive presentation of the Museum's "Scandal!" exhibit. The exhibit is presented as a slideshow of several documents and images from "Scandal!," which traces the history of financial scandals in America from William Duer's role in the Crash of 1792 through more modern scandals including Enron and Madoff.

The focus of this issue of History Now is "Shaping the American Economy." The edition also includes an article on "The U.S. Banking System: Origin, Development and Regulation," by the Museum's Chairman, Dr. Richard Sylla.
