Wendy M. Cohn
Wendy M. Cohn is a managing director in Fitch Ratings’ Structured Finance Business Relationship Management group. She is the co-head of North America Structured Finance Business responsible for managing issuer, banker and investor relationships for the ABS and RMBS groups, as well as overseeing all commercial activities of the group. Wendy is also involved with compliance and regulatory issues impacting global structured finance. Previously, Wendy managed the commercial asset-backed securities group, which specialized in analyzing and rating transactions backed by assets, including equipment leases, aircraft, small business administration loans, timeshare loans and health care receivables.
Prior to joining Fitch in 1996, Wendy was an assistant vice president in NatWest Bank’s financial services division.
Wendy holds a BA in business economics from Brown University and an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Wendy has been an active Board member of the Structured Finance Association (SFA) since its inception and its two predecessor organizations, having served on the Board of Directors multiple times and the Executive Committee of the Board. She is also the founding co-chair of Women in Securitization. She has been a member of the Museum's Board of Trustees since 2025.
