Dean Bernstein has been collecting and drinking fine wine for more than 35 years and has built up an extensive cellar filled with top vintages of great Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone, etc. He is a member of the Commanderie de Bordeaux and the NYC Societe des Amis Champagne. Seven years ago, after retiring from the corporate real estate business, Dean embarked on a second career with Zachys in its Private Clients Group advising their top clients on buying and selling collectible wines and helping them fill their cellars with great bottles from retail, auction or other sources. As such, he attends many industry tasting events and dinners further enhancing his knowledge and making him one of the most experienced wine-tasters in NYC.
