Bradford DeLong on "Slouching Towards Utopia" Thursday, February 23, 2023 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Watch our event with economist Bradford DeLong, as he speaks on his award-winning new book. Slouching Towards Utopia–named a "Best Book of 2022" by the Financial Times–tells the story of how an unprecedented explosion of material wealth occurred, how it transformed the globe and why it failed to deliver us to utopia. Of remarkable breadth and ambition, it reveals the last century to have been less a march of progress than a slouch in the right direction.
