A Conversation with David Booth and Eugene F. Fama

Join the Museum, in partnership with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, for a conversation between David Booth and Nobel laureate Eugene Fama, moderated by CNBC Senior Markets Correspondent Bob Pisani. This program will be held in person in Chicago and broadcast live via Zoom to the MoAF audience.

David Booth is chairman of Dimensional Fund Advisors, a firm he founded in 1981. He has won numerous awards for his accomplishments in applying financial theory and research to the practical world of asset management, particularly for his pioneering work in indexing and small capitalization investing.

Eugene Fama, 2013 Nobel laureate in Economic sciences, is widely recognized as the "father of modern finance." He is strongly identified with research on markets, particularly the efficient markets hypothesis.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Museum as we honored the achievements of Robert Arnott, Vincent Viola, Mark Shenkman and Carol Loomis at our 2023 Gala on March 13. This year's Gala resumed as an in-person event, after two years of virtual Galas. CNBC Senior Markets Correspondent Bob Pisani and “WealthTrack” Executive Producer and Managing Editor Consuelo Mack served as masters of ceremony.
