Investing A to Z: Financial Education Series for Adults

Join the Museum, in partnership with the New York Public Library’s Thomas Yoseloff Business Center, for a nine-part series on investing. Designed to lead you through basic investment concepts, the series aims to provide participants with a greater understanding of what professional investors look for when reviewing stocks, bonds, mutual funds and options. Learn about interest rates and economic indicators and how they impact markets. Speakers include investment specialists from FINRA, the SEC, distinguished professors from Fordham University and New York University, as well as Wall Street investment professionals.

The video is now available for Thomas Peterffy, chairman and founder of global electronic brokerage firm Interactive Brokers Group, Inc., in conversation with CNBC Senior Markets Correspondent Bob Pisani.

Mr. Peterffy has been at the forefront of applying computer technology to automate trading and brokerage functions since 1965. Today, Interactive Brokers is the second largest publicly-traded electronic broker, providing direct access trade execution and clearing services to institutional and professional traders for a wide variety of electronically traded products including stocks, options, futures, forex, bonds, CFDs and funds on over 135 trading venues and 27 currencies around the world.
