New Video Series


MoAF and Cheddar Collaborate on "Disrupting Wall Street: The Power of FinTech" Video Series

In October, the Museum launched a monthly video series featuring C-Suite technology executives from across the financial industry discussing "Disrupting Wall Street" from their individual perspectives. This series is the Museum's second collaboration with Cheddar, a live and on demand news network covering technology, media and entertainment, which broadcasts daily from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

Watch the first two videos in this series, featuring Ranjit Tinaikar, president of Fitch Solutions, and Tim Gokey, president and COO of Broadridge.

Kate Elizabeth Brown on "Alexander Hamilton and the Development of American Law"
Friday, January 11, 2019 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM

Join us on the anniversary of Alexander Hamilton's birth for a talk on his legal legacy by Dr. Kate Elizabeth Brown. In her analytical biography, Dr. Brown recasts our understanding of Hamilton’s political career, his policy achievements and his significant role in the American founding by considering him first and foremost as a preeminent lawyer who applied law and legal arguments to accomplish his statecraft.

This event will be held at the John Street Methodist Church, 44 John Street, and is presented in partnership with the Alexander Hamilton Awareness (AHA) Society.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Please note earlier start time than other events in this series.

2019 MoAF Gala


2019 Gala Honoring Dr. Janet Yellen and Laurence Fink
Tuesday, February 5, 2019 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM

The Museum will honor the achievements of financial leaders in both the public and private sectors with two important awards at its 2019 Gala.

The Whitehead Award for Distinguished Public Service and Financial Leadership will recognize the significant contributions of Dr. Janet Yellen, former chair of the Federal Reserve Board and distinguished fellow in residence at The Brookings Institution.

The Charles Schwab Financial Innovation Award, which recognizes individuals who have introduced new markets or new financial instruments to our financial system, will be presented to Laurence D. Fink, chairman and CEO of BlackRock.
