MoAF to Host Evening Program: “Your Vote. Your Money.”

New York, NY – On October 27, the Museum of American Finance will host “Your Vote. Your Money.: Tracking Investor Sentiment in the Run-Up to the Election.” Leaders in financial markets, media, communications and data analysis will explore how the positions and platforms of the presidential candidates drive investors’ and voters’ financial concerns and how that is reflected in online activity, political polls and the markets. The program will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Museum’s Grand Mezzanine at 48 Wall Street in New York.

The program will begin with introductory remarks from Consuelo Mack, Executive Producer & Managing Editor of Consuelo Mack WealthTrack, followed by a fireside chat featuring Strategas CEO & Chief Investment Strategist Jason DeSena Trennert and Strategas President & Head of Quantitative Research Nicholas Bohnsack discussing the increased focus on policy – legislative, monetary, regulatory – in the political platforms and its impact on the investment decisions of institutional and individual investors.

A panel discussion moderated by Consuelo Mack, whose weekly public television series WealthTrack is devoted to helping Americans build and protect their wealth over the long term, will follow the fireside chat.

Panelists include:
Michael McDonough: Chief Economist, Bloomberg Intelligence
Caleb Silver: Vice President for Content, Investopedia
Ali Velshi: Anchor, MSNBC

“Your Vote. Your Money.” is sponsored by Investopedia and Strategas. The program will be followed by a cocktail reception. More information can be found at www.moaf.org/YourVoteYourMoney. Join the conversation at #YourVoteYourMoney.
