Leena Akhtar studied History/Anthropology and Economics at Carnegie Mellon University, and earned her MA in Cultural History at the University of London. Prior to coming to the Museum, she spent five years working in the financial field, first at a currency trading brokerage and most recently at a private fund management firm.
